Product Details

C20 Dual-Slot Lithium Battery Charger

The C20 is a two-slot charger for supported cylindrical rechargeable batteries. Its slots charge independently under a microcomputer management system, with selectable charging currents of 500mA or 1000mA. The charger uses a Micro USB DC 5V input, with a recommended adapter current of 2A.

Supported Battery Types and Sizes

This charger supports cylindrical lithium-ion batteries rated at 3.7V or 3.8V, as well as NiMH, NiCd and LiFePO4 batteries. Listed compatible lithium-ion and IMR sizes include 18650, 18490, 18350, 17670, 17500, 16340 (RCR123), 14500 and 10440.

The charger automatically identifies Li-ion and Ni-MH batteries. LiFePO4 and Li-ion 3.85V batteries can be selected manually. The 0V activation function provides activation current trickle charging, while batteries measuring 1.65V to 1.85V cannot be charged.

Charging and Display Functions

Charging uses constant-current and constant-voltage modes, with a cut-off current of less than 100mA. The LED display indicates charging levels at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%, along with battery types including NiMH 1.2V, LiFe 3.2V, Li-ion 3.7V and Li-ion 3.85V.

The charger includes over-charge, over-discharge and short-circuit protection, plus intelligent identification of bad batteries and reverse battery detection. Its charging output specifications include 500mA or 1000mA current and voltage settings of 4.2V ± 0.05V, 4.35V ± 0.05V and 3.65V ± 0.05V.

USB Output

A standard USB output provides automatic recognition with a rated output current of 1000mA. The no-load output voltage is 4.90–5.30V, and the stated output voltage under a 1000mA load is 4.75–5.25V. Output stops at a protection voltage of 3.0 ± 0.1V.

Size and Usage Notes

The C20 measures 112 × 60 × 30mm and weighs 150g. Use a 5V USB adapter, with a recommended adapter current of 2A. The charger is intended for indoor use. It may become hot during charging and discharging, so handle it carefully. Follow the rechargeable battery manufacturer’s recommended charging current, unplug the charger and remove the battery when it is no longer in use.
